For the first time, sales of Chrysler (NYSE: FACU) outweighed Ford (NYSE: F). For the month of June, sales of Fiat-Chrysler jumped about 8% compared year-over-year. Ford saw a 2% rise, according to CNBC, however, could not catch up to its competition. The main factor in the Fiat-Chryslers sales rise was due to increasing Jeep sales, which, according to CNBC, rose a staggering 25% in the month of June.
