While interacting with a computer through a keyboard is a more tactile experience than one would think, the keyboard’s unfeeling, grid-like form since its inception has seemed entirely unsuited to the intensely organic nature of the human hand. Enter the Model 01 ergonomic keyboard by Keyboardio, which splices the traditional array of keys into two pads arranged into a configuration that gives easy access to all fingers. Crafted out of two blocks of solid maple for a better aesthetic and tactile impression, the “heirloom-grade” Model 01 uses custom-sculpted mechanical keys for that full, old-fashioned sense of satisfaction.
